L2TP/IPsec Protocol

The L2TP/IPsec protocol is more secure than PPTP. L2TP/IPsec combines the best features of the two most popular VPN protocols – L2F and PPTP – without any flaws, to deliver the best VPN technology available today.

Free L2TP/IPsec

You can create an L2TP Ipsec account for free on our website at any time and we have provided a large number of servers from almost all over the world. You can take advantage of this free service for your personal use or your colleagues

SSTP VPN

Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol (SSTP), a proprietary SSL-based VPN protocol. SSL VPN solutions can penetrate firewalls, because most firewalls open TCP SSL/TLS ports to the outside.

No DDOS No Fraud No Hacking No Spam

Best free and paid premium SSH VPN Tunnel service provider for your experience, we provide many VPN protocols including L2TP/IPsec Tunnel, The term "tunnel" usually refers to the entire path between two endpoints, where packets are encapsulated inside other packets for transmission through different types of networks, while "transport" usually refers to only one particular link or connection at a time between two entities.
IPsec stands for internet protocol security which provides exclusive benefits to ISPs including user and control packets. IPsec itself has no authentication or key distribution mechanism. IPsec can only be used to provide a secure channel by encrypting and decrypting packets sent over an unsecured network. IPsec in combination with L2TP provides the following benefits to the VPN tunneling protocol:

  • Authenticate with EAP or local user accounts for virtual private network clients.
  • Message authentication and integrity checks ensure that messages are not altered and are authentic.
  • The ISP can achieve encryption and decryption with a symmetric session key for the VPN connection.
  • Shared authentication ensures that the IPsec gateway is actually communicating with a real L2TP / IPsec client and not with an intruder impersonating the client.
  • Protecting private networks over the Internet (VPN) has long been the main use of IPsec.
  • A VPN server or SSH Tunnel is an intermediary server that encrypts your connection to the internet and also hides your public IP address. A VPN or SSH server encrypts all your traffic, not only in your browser but also in other applications, then forwards the traffic to its destination.

They are a popular privacy solution, and because of this, there is a strong incentive for VPN providers to design tools that are both easy to use and secure.
By using a VPN service or SSH Tunnels, your connection will fully use the VPS server internet network, and our VPS servers have the speed to handle these connections at speeds of up to 1 Gbps and are supported by the use of the most sophisticated tier 4 network infrastructure in the data center so as to provide uptime of up to 99%

    How does L2TP/IPsec work?

Explanation about L2TP/IPsec SSTP VPN that might help you understand it

L2TP is a tunneling protocol used to support virtual private networks (VPNs). It does not provide any encryption or confidentiality by itself. Instead, it relies on the encryption protocols it traverses in the tunnel to ensure privacy.

L2TP encapsulates PPP in a virtual path running over IP, so an IP protocol (such as IPv4 or IPv6) is required. The protocol itself is neither secure nor encrypted. Therefore, it must run encrypted protocols to ensure privacy. This means that other protocols sit "above" L2TP to provide the required security features.

L2TP uses UDP messages over IP networks for tunnel maintenance and tunnel data. PPTP has a TCP connection setting that is incompatible with NAT. L2TP has the ability to bypass NAT devices, but this needs to be configured on both ends of the connection. PPTP uses TCP port 1723 and IP protocol 47 Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE).

Both L2TP and PPTP are implemented natively in the Windows operating system, so an integrated L2TP/IPsec client can be used. Some firewalls and routers support passive L2TP mode, which simplifies mobile OS deployment.

NAT Traversal (NAT-T) is a mechanism that allows IPSec peers to negotiate and build non-IPsec, UDP-encapsulated SA ESPs between them. This allows them to communicate securely without requiring each party to have a publicly routable address. The only implementation requirement is to have or a firewall that supports UDP port 4500.

Benefits of using SSH Tunnel and VPN Tunnel

Here are some advantages of using SSH Tunnel or VPN Tunnel.

    In secret (confidentiality)

By using a public network that controls data, SSH / VPN technology uses a work system by encrypting all data that passes through it.

With the encryption technology, data confidentiality can be more controlled.

Although there are parties who can tap data that passes over the internet in addition to the SSH / VPN line itself, but not necessarily able to read the data, because the data has been scrambled.

By implementing this encryption system, no one can access and read the data network contents easily.

    Integrity Data (Data Integrity)

When passing through the internet network, the data actually runs very far past various countries.

During the trip, various disturbances could occur in its contents, lost, damaged, manipulated by people who could not be moved.

In SSH / VPN technology is needed that can maintain the integrity of the data starting from the data sent until the data reaches the destination.

    Source Authentication (Authentication Origin)

SSH / VPN technology has the ability to authenticate sending data sources to be received. SSH / VPN will check all incoming data and retrieve information from the data source.

Then, the address of the data source will be successfully completed, the authentication process was successful.

Thus, SSH / VPN guarantees all data sent and received from the source received. No data is falsified or sent by other parties.
